BYS operates a Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) which stocks the full range of clean injecting equipment, including sterile water and pill filters. The NSP is available for all members of the public as well as young people under 25.
The aim of the NSP is to reduce the spread of blood borne infections like HIV and hepatitis C, as well as to link injecting drug users to other health and welfare services.
