The Future
In BYS' 33 years of operation, we have grown into an organisation that is able to provide increased and improved levels of service to homeless or at risk young people, the government and the community as a whole. The total cost of service delivery of $2.2M is shortfunded by the government by approximately 10%, which doesn't leave much in the bank to work with. The focus for 2010 are:

• To raise awareness amongst members of the comunity about BYS and our services. 
• To implement an annual Events Calendar for participation by members of the community whilst aiding the work of BYS.
• To encourage more in-kind and sponsorship donations from the public and private sectors in order to increase the range of service supports and programs.

Even though BYS is now well established, our work is ongoing and long term. The organisational dream is to provide new futures for young people. This can only be realised through continuing financial and non-financial support from the wider community.

For example, every dollar donated to us goes toward helping local disadvantaged young people by providing them with opportunities to create positive change to their lives. These opportunities have the beneficial effects of mitigating the complex adverse circumstances faced by these young people. BYS fundraising offers donors the following supports of choice:
